Bicycle Kits

An electric bicycle kit can be used to convert almost almost any bicycle to electric. With an electric bicycle kit you can transform your bike into an electric bike in an hour or so. If you can change a flat tire, you can convert your bike to electric on your own with the E-BikeKit electric bicycle kit. The electric bicycle kits above are mainly for mountain bikes, 2 and 3-wheel recumbent bikes, road bikes, bakfiets, cargo bikes, folding bikes and any other 2-wheeled bike. We offer a 3-wheel electric tricycle conversion kit for adult upright tricycles.

Electric Bike Kit Compatibility: The front wheel hub motor wheels are available in 16in to 700c size wheels. Your fork must be the standard 100mm to properly accept these electric bike kit wheels. 100mm spacing is standard spacing for front forks for most bikes. Fat bikes likely have 135mm in the front in which case a rear motor can be used. Please call us if you have a fat bike you want to convert to an electric fat bike using an electric bicycle kit.

The electric bike kits above when sorted by price from lowest to highest will start with kits without a battery pack. As you scroll down to higher priced electric bike systems (kit and battery combinations), you will find kits paired with various ebike batteries. We offer SLA (sealed lead-acid) battery packs in both 36v and 48v and in 2 capacities (9Ah and 12Ah) and we offer LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) batteries in 10Ah capacity also in 36v or 48v. Conversion kits with SLA batteries are less expensive and kits with lithium batteries are more expensive. Other than the battery pack, all of the conversion kits are the same price and include the same components. All of our electric bicycle kits are offered without a battery and compatible with any 36 volt or 48 volt battery pack. A battery wire harness is included with all conversion kits ordered without a battery, and that wire harness will allow you to connect any 3rd party battery to your E-BIkeKit brand electric bicycle kit controller.
